It’s 3am. The pinky on my hand is numb, and I’ve been gloating and making ridiculous gang signs at my computer screen for the last 4 hours while trying to decide if I should have another coffee. I’ve been playing Hi-Rez Studios’ new game, Tribes Ascend, and I am completely obsessed.

This weekend I've gone retro, tackling some of the most popular comic characters in their earlier days - Batman and the X-Men. This time, I've started reading Uncanny X-Men from issue #1, as well as Batman: Year One.

Those who know me know that I'm a big fan of the Aliens / Predators franchises, and that I also am becoming somewhat of a collector. Well, yesterday you can imagine how excited I was when I received an awesome surprise in the mail - my limited run 19" Gort Predator figurine had arrived.

I can't believe it's Friday again, already! And for extra effect, it's Friday the 13th! Scary or not? Well, in the great tradition of Friday 13th, Woot! sent me an email saying that I wouldn't be receiving my Xenophile shirt from them. Cue disappointment.

Today I finished my second job for the same company - I say that because the role I was hired for ended up being a very different role than what I left behind, as is the general style of evolving job roles.

It's late Easter Sunday, and I've pretty much spent most of this afternoon reading through an originally foreign story called Daomu. Originating from a very popular novel in China called "The Tomb Robber's Journal", the comic seems to be just that - a dark, mysterious tale of one tomb robber, Sean Wu.

When I’m not playing games, these days I’m usually winding down with a good read. Before, it used to be books, but being an appreciator of great artwork, as well as being short on time, I’ve recently turned back to comics for my fill of non-interactive storylines. Today, I look at Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead.
